If you’ve been hanging around these parts for a while, you’ll know that I’m a huge fan of local skincare brands, and Beaut is my latest find – and current obsession.
I started using the range of serums (yep, ALL of them) about six weeks ago and have been so impressed. I’ll share my thoughts about the rest of the Beauts soon, but wanted to focus specifically on the newest Beaut on board – Beaut Posh Wash Cream Cleanser (R450 for 100ml).
Start as you mean to go on
I’m a firm believer in investing in a good, high-quality cream cleanser that will remove impurities and properly prep your skin for any products to follow. I mean, if your skin isn’t cleansed and prepped, there really isn’t any point to using expensive serums and moisturisers afterwards – they won’t be able to properly penetrate your skin or go to work on lifting, plumping, or hydrating.
As someone who wears sunscreen and a full face of make-up on the daily, I always opt for a micellar water before going in with a gentle, cream cleanser to remove any last traces of make-up and impurities. I’ve switched cleansers more times than I can count but have finally settled on a handful of favourites, including Beaut’s Posh Wash.
Beaut Posh Wash Cream Cleanser
Posh Wash contains a gorgeous blend of gently exfoliating and soothing ingredients, including squalane, aloe, oat extract, and wheat amino acids. These work together to remove make-up and impurities, while removing dead skin cells and retaining your skin’s moisture balance at the same time.
I have absolutely loved using Beaut Posh Wash Cream Cleanser since it’s launch over a month ago, and I’m pleased to report that I still have two-thirds of the tube left! When it comes to using Posh Wash, a little truly goes a long way; I use a pea-size amount on damp fingers and apply to damp skin after doing a once-over with a cotton pad soaked in micellar water. Works like a dream, and my skin has never felt better!
